DOC NYC is officially over for another year, and what a festival it has been!

Thank you to all the sponsors, filmmakers, staff, volunteers and audiences who made this festival possible. Once again, DOC NYC was an incredible eight-day celebration of nonfiction filmmaking.

This year we experienced 300+ films and events including 135 feature-length documentaries, 42 World Premieres and 17 U.S or North American premieres.

As our Executive Director, Raphaela Neihausen, notes “This was the best festival yet. It was our pleasure to welcome nearly 1000 special guests who presented over 300 films and events. We are already looking forward to next year which will be our tenth anniversary!”
