Hone your pitching skills by observing selected filmmakers pitch their projects to leading industry panelists. Eight filmmakers with works in progress selected from DOC NYC’s Only in New York program pitch to industry decision-makers. We’ll start the day with a session on best pitching practices. Then attendees observe the pitches and hear panelist feedback. Industry panelists include representatives from A&E IndieFilms, ESPN Films, Impact Partners, NEON and TIME Studios. Moderated by Elise McCave (Kickstarter) and Judith Helfand (Chicken & Egg Pictures).
