DOC NYC Passes Now On Sale!
By popular demand, DOC NYC introduces new festival passes for audiences eager to enhance their DOC NYC experience. They can be purchased at the IFC Center box office (323 Sixth Avenue at West Third Street, open daily 10:30am–10pm) or at the below links. Passes are now on sale at early-bird prices.
ALL ACCESS PASS
A new All-Access Pass is being offered this year, giving audiences a chance to explore the full range of the festival’s expansive offerings, including all festival films, panels and events. Note: This pass excludes the Visionaries Tribute lunch.
Binge on everything at DOC NYC for $500, with a special early-bird discount price of $450 until October 15. Pass holders must claim tickets between 60 and 15 minutes prior to each screening or panel.
Purchasing a pass:
All-Access Passes can be purchased online by clicking here or in person at the IFC Center box office. After purchase, bring your receipt to the DOC NYC festival table in IFC Center’s lobby 10:00am-5:00pm starting November 13 to claim your badge. When retrieving your badge, please provide your email address so we can offer access to additional receptions.
Only a limited number of All-Access Passes will be available
Using the pass:
Passholders must show their badge at the DOC NYC table in the theater’s lobby to retrieve a hard ticket, starting one hour before showtime. Passholders must arrive at least 15 min. before showtime to retrieve their ticket; after which remaining inventory will be made available to the general public.
All-Access Passes are not transferable.
DOC-A-THON PASS
The Doc-A-Thon Pass, grants access to the six-day lineup of Doc-A-Thon panels and masterclasses with leading industry figures, plus all weekday festival screenings at IFC Center that start before 5:00 pm plus screenings of The Age of Love, Meet the Patels (on 11/16), Enquiring Minds: The Untold Story of the Man Behind the National Enquirer, and Soul Boys of the Western World. This covers dozens of festival events between 10:00am – 5:00pm on Monday-Friday at IFC Center.
New this year, space-permitting, the Doc-A-Thon pass grants access to all 7 classics in the Docs Redux section, featuring screenings with Joe Berlinger, Chris Hegedus, Steve James, Albert Maysles, DA Pennebaker & Frederick Wiseman in person!
This pass is also on offer this year for $125, with an early bird discount of $99 until October 15.

DOC NYC makes a great effort to hold seat inventory for all Doc-A-Thon Pass holders. For panels, passholders are always guaranteed a seat if they arrive 15 minutes before the panel begins. In the rare case of a sold-out film screening, Doc-A-Thon Passholders may wait in the rush line for available seats to be released on a first-come, first-served basis and will be admitted free, space permitting.
Doc-A-Thon Passes are not transferable.
Doc-A-Thon Passes do not grant admission to shows at the SVA Theatre or the Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas.
INSIDER PASS
The popular Insider Pass, provides all the perks of the Doc-A-Thon Pass (see above) PLUS access to the full lineup of screenings in the festival’s expanded Short List section showcasing 15 of 2014’s most notable non-fiction films.
Pass is available for $199, with a special early-bird discount price of $150 until October 15.
