PEOPLE AND ANIMALS: THE WILD LIFE SECTION
The Wild Life a new section at DOC NYC for 2015 explores our relationships to animals. Pit bulls, horses, tigers are all portrayed in these films which illustrates the bonds between humans and animals.
Among these is Huntwatch which will have its World Premiere. In this fascinating documentary, Brian Davies, a charismatic young activist, sets out on a crusade in Canada to expose the cruelty of seal hunting while making audiences fall in love with these graceful, vulnerable creatures. DOC NYC is pleased to welcome director Brant Backlund at the festival.
