Tonight at DOC NYC, King Georges will screen at Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas at 7:00PM with director Erika Frankel and subjects Georges Perrier, Genevieve Perrier and Nicholas Elmi of Top Chef fame. At Philadelphia’s famed French restaurant Le Bec Fin, chef Georges Perrier struggles to stay in business. Should he sell his restaurant and retire or partner with his talented protégé, Nicholas Elmi?

Meanwhile, Motley’s Law will have its NYC premiere at 7:15PM at IFC Center with director Nicole N. Horanyi, producer Helle Faber and subject Kimberley Motley: the only female attorney licensed to work in the Afghan courts. Meet the charismatic woman as she fights against corruption and abuse. With the withdrawal of international troops looming, can she brave personal threats and an unstable country to continue her work?

Back at Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas, the NYC Premiere of Game Face will screen at 9:15PM. The film follows Fallon Fox, a transgender Mixed Martial Artist and Terrence Clemens, a gay college basketball player as they navigate the fraught terrain of living their lives openly in the public eye. Director Michiel Thomas and editor Yuhei Ogawa will be in attendance at the screening.

End your evening at IFC Center, with the NYC Premiere of Tree Man: the story of a Quebecois family man who spends five weeks on the streets of NYC selling Christmas trees, leaving his wife and small children in Quebec. Directors Jon Reiner and Brad Rothschild, cinematographer David W. Leitner and editor John Scott Cook will attend the screening.
