NYC PREMIERE Born with a rare physical disability, filmmaker Ella Glendining inhabits and loves her unusual body while searching the globe for others like her. Many whom she encounters insist that she, and others with similar conditions, could or should be surgically altered toward “normality,” a prejudicial outlook known as ableism. With the gifts of a truly empathetic storyteller, Ella demonstrates what a life free from the mental shackles of ableism is like. – Jaie Laplante
