Samantha Knowles is an award-winning director. She won a Cinema Eye Honors Award and an NAACP Image Award for the HBO series Black and Missing. Her recent work includes an episode of a forthcoming civil rights series for HBO, the New York Times Op-Doc “The Blue Line” and the HBO documentary “How We Get Free”, which premieres this fall.
