DOC NYC 2024 Oscar Winners

Massive congratulations are in order for our DOC NYC 2024 Official Selections to take home Oscars at last night’s ceremony! The Award for Best Documentary Feature went to NO OTHER LAND, the urgent West Bank story offering an unflinching look at life under Israeli military occupation; and Best Documentary Short went to THE ONLY GIRL IN THE ORCHESTRA, which chronicles the amazing career of Orin O’Brien, the first woman hired to play in the New York Philharmonic. This is one of the toughest documentary races we’ve seen in recent years, congratulations to all nominees and winners – we’re humbled that you chose DOC NYC to be a part of your film’s journey.
