FACES PLACES

Winner of the Cannes Film Festival Golden Eye Award for documentary and the Toronto International Film Festival Documentary People’s Choice Award, Faces Places creates an unexpected pairing of the octogenarian French New Wave filmmaker Agnès Varda (The Gleaners & I) and the much younger street artist JR. Journeying through France, they create photo murals that celebrate ordinary people in extraordinary ways. Each stop is a revelation.
