This year, DOC NYC presents three late night screenings for our Midnight series. The world premiering Haunters is a sideways look at family businesses — more specifically, at a Michigan family’s homegrown haunted house run amok. Love And Terror on the Howling Plains of Nowhere goes into the stranger-than-fiction small town history of Chadron, Nebraska, and the haunting discovery of an out-of-towner’s remains. Sex(ed) draws from archival educational footage to examine America’s bizarre teaching tools when it comes to sex.
