US PREMIERE The existential Gen-X movie we didn’t know we wanted. Chris Wilcha digs into his lived experience – career stops and starts, documentary films begun and abandoned, cross-country relocations, and his relationship with a certain New Jersey secondhand record store – to weave an emotional reckoning with his state of being. While shooting a high-end commercial in NYC, Wilcha revisits his time as a one-time Sundance breakout, a BTS Judd Apatow director, an Emmy winner for adapting This American LIfe from radio to TV, and finds humor in life’s biggest questions. – Jaie Laplante
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Chris Wilcha and special guest Ira Glass.
