Cole’s unwavering determination fueled his company’s growth and his fierce commitment to social activism. New York-based Martin Schoeller won acclaim for his ultra close-up portraits of figures like George Clooney, Barack Obama, and Taylor Swift, yet here director Josephine Links focuses on his work featuring people who are not in the public eye, including homeless people and death row exonerees.
