For select films whose first screenings went quickly to rush only availability, we’ve added the following additional screenings:
The Seven Five, a surprising tale of a police officer gone to the dark side, will screen again on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:05 pm at IFC.
Tough Love (above), a moving look at custody battles, follows its sold-out show with an added screening Wednesday, November 19 at 2:45 pm at IFC, with the filmmaker in person for a Q&A.
Above and Beyond, Roberta Grossman’s exploration of the secret history of the Israeli Air Force, will also screen Thursday, November 20 at 4:45 pm at IFC. Part of the festival’s Special Events program, the film will be followed by a conversation with producer Nancy Spielberg.
Rubble Kings, an expose on the 1970s South Bronx gang wars, will also screen Wednesday, November 19 at 5:20 pm at IFC.
The Hand That Feeds, a rousing look at labor organizing in a Upper East Side Hot & Crusty, screens again on Thursday, November 20 at5:10 pm at IFC.
Heaven Adores You, a portrait of the great yet troubled musical legend Elliott Smith, will now screen a second time on Thursday, November 20 at 9:30 pm at SVA, with the director in person for a Q&A.
Sex and Broadcasting, a look at the beloved, eclectic Jersey City radio station WFMU, has a third screening due to popular demand on Thursday, November 20 at 9:45 pm at SVA, with director Tim K. Smith and WFMU’s Ken Freedman in person.
