SOON IN THEATRES: DEALS AT DOC NYC

We’re proud to announce several acquisitions that took place at this year’s festival.

Two documentaries from the Doc Eat Doc section have been picked up:

Magnolia Pictures acquired Noma: My Perfect Storm (pictured) and will release the film theatrically and digitally on December 18th, 2015.

Sundance Selects acquired King Georges and will release it in theatres on February 26th, 2016.

Film Movement acquired two films from DOC NYC’s Sonic Cinema section: Theory of Obscurity: A Film About The Residents  and Mad Tiger.
Mad Tiger will open next year followed by a digital and home video release.  Theory of Obscurity: A Film About the Residents will be released theatrically in March 2016.

California Newsreel will release BaddDDD Sonia Sanchez about the spoken word poet and activist.

On Friday, November 20th, Sky Line will be released on all major VOD platforms including Amazon, Google Play, Itunes, Vudu and Xbox Live.
