SUSAN SARANDON TO ATTEND DEEP RUN ON 11/17!

Deep Run is having a second screening on Tuesday, November 17th at 5:15PM at the IFC Center. Susan Sarandon, who served as an executive producer on the documentary, will be in attendance at the screening to introduce the film along with director Hillevi Loven, producers Chris Talbott and Samara Levenstein and subject Cole Ray Davis.

Deep Run explores the intersection of modern identity and faith in the American South. Growing up transgender in rural North Carolina, Cole has remained remarkably upbeat despite rejection from his family, school and church. With religion deeply ingrained as part of his identity, Cole longs to find acceptance within a community of faith, but doesn’t want to hide who he is or who he loves. Can the affable young trans man live openly with his true love in the Bible Belt?
