Today, Circle of Poison  (pictured) is having its World Premiere at the IFC Center at 5:00PM. The documentary is a pointed exposé on the global trade in banned pesticides and their impact on health. Director Evan Mascagni and Shannon Post along with editor Nick Capezerra will attend the screening.

Another film having its World Premiere is The Dying of the Light. This film is playing at Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas at 7:15PM this evening and is a bittersweet ode to the vanishing craft of film projection and a celebration of the men and women in the booth. Director Peter Flynn will be in attendance.

One offering from our DOC EAT DOC section is For Grace, a film about chef Curtis Duffy (recognized with two Michelin stars) and his grand plans to open a new Chicago restaurant called Grace. The film is having its NYC Premiere at 9:30PM at the IFC Center and director Kevin Pang is set to attend.
